Acceptable Use Policy

This policy outlines the rules and standards for all users of the StreetDash platform.

1. Overview

StreetDash is committed to providing a safe and reliable marketplace for our customers, vendors, and delivery partners. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the standards of behavior expected when using our Platform, Services, or Apps. By using StreetDash, you agree to comply with this policy.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, share, or list any content that:

  • Is illegal under South African law, including the sale of prohibited or restricted substances.
  • Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive.
  • Promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

3. Prohibited Behavior

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the StreetDash platform:

  • Fraudulent Activity: Creating fake accounts, processing fraudulent payments, or engaging in "chargeback fraud."
  • Spam & Solicitation: Sending unsolicited communications or advertisements through our messaging systems.
  • Harassment: Using the platform to stalk, threaten, or harass customers, drivers, or merchant staff.
  • Abuse of Service: Manipulating ratings, reviews, or promotional codes to gain an unfair advantage.

4. Payment & Financial Integrity

In alignment with our payment processing partner, Paystack, we enforce strict financial security:

  • You must not use StreetDash to facilitate money laundering or any form of illicit financial transaction.
  • Unauthorized use of credit cards, debit cards, or other payment methods is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent ban and reporting to local authorities.

5. Platform Security

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any StreetDash system or network.
  • Use any "robot," "spider," or other automated devices to scrape data from our platform.
  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the operation of our services.

6. Enforcement

StreetDash reserves the right to investigate and take legal action against anyone who, in StreetDash's sole discretion, violates this AUP. Enforcement actions may include:

  • Immediate suspension or permanent termination of account access.
  • Deletion of prohibited content or merchant listings.
  • Reporting of illegal activities to law enforcement or relevant financial regulators.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this policy, please report it immediately to compliance@streetdash.co.za.
