The Spark
StreetDash didn't start in a boardroom; it started by looking at the vibrant, bustling streets of our South African townships. We saw incredible food, hardworking vendors, and ambitious drivers—but we also saw a massive gap.
The big delivery apps weren't built for us. They were built for high-end suburbs, with high commissions that stripped local vendors of their profits and left drivers struggling to make ends meet. We knew there had to be a better way to connect our communities.
The "Why"
We believe that technology should empower, not exploit. When a local "mama" sells a plate of food or a local entrepreneur starts a delivery service, they shouldn't have to give away 25% or 30% of their hard-earned money to a platform.
The StreetDash Solution
We went back to the drawing board to create a Fair Business Model. By charging a low 8% commission for vendors and fixing fair delivery fees for drivers, we’ve removed the "middleman" greed.
